We arrived at the property and was greeted by Colin who gave us the keys, he was very friendly and informative about the surrounding areas. When checking into the property it is very spacious and looks just like the pictures however upon unpacking we discovered the property hadnt had a proper clean and it seemed the cleaner had done a quick clean around, as there was a false nail in the living space and the carpet was filled with crumbs and dirt, the kitchen draws and fridge was also dirty with lots of marks. The log burner is also not a log burner and is actually a electrical heating which doesn't work, Colin said he would send an electrician round after we leave. The hot tub is a very nice feature despite the jets not working on one side and the only one light working. The kitchen isn't very equipped as it only had two glass dishes and no oven trays. Greg the new manger started just as we arrived and he was extremely nice and we wish him well and seems to be just what the places

Absolutely amazing lodge. Would Recommend it 100%. It was super clean. Bed linen was white and clean no stains. Even the fitted sheets were clean. You could tell the house had been cleaned professionally and not just a rushed clean. Both bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious. Loved the shower as it was very big. House was nice and warm. We had the opportunity to using the hot tub and it was super clean inside which made it even more comfortable for us. Lovely quiet area. No network/ phone signal though but that gave us all a chance to play games with the kids. Best feature of the house is the kids built in bunk beds. That was superb! Both my kids loved it so much and demanded they have one just like that at home LOL. Lovely sandy beach only 45 min away which was fantastic. Again kids loved it. Great host and very friendly. Will definitely be booking this lodge again.
