Ideal for couples or young families looking for a base from which to explore the New Forest and the south coast, both just a few minutes drive away. Situated in a peaceful family garden, the warm and welcoming cabin offers comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people with a private shower room, TV, wifi, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. With ample parking and space to safely store bikes, paddle boards or dirty hiking boots, this is the perfect space to embark on your active holiday. The cabin is very light and fully central heated with a good sized bathroom (shower only). There is a king sized bed, and an additional, comfortable double sofa bed. There are double doors to the front and sides of the cabin, and in the warm summer evenings it is lovely to open the doors and enjoy the evening sun.

The wood cabin was well equipped with all we needed for our few days in the New Forest. Bathroom a good size compared with some we have stayed in and bed very comfortable. We had lovely weather so were able to enjoy the heated swimming pool which was a real bonus. There is a lot to explore in the area; Mottisfont and Exbury Gardens and Bucklers Hard recommended. Sophie and family were very welcoming - thank you again!
We had a lovely stay at Sophie’s place, she was very responsive to messages and nothing was too much to ask. The location is amazing- peaceful but not too far away from local shops, we made use of the pool on 2 of the days which we stayed. Sophie was attentive and her children were very polite playing in the garden, we didn’t even realise they were there at points! The airbnb was clean and tidy and had everything we required, it was lovely to open the doors and enjoy the sunshine. We visited Highcliffe Castle and my partner played at Highcliffe golf course as well- both were lovely to visit. We also visited the Deer Sanctuary which was great to see the deer. Overall it was a lovely stay to celebrate our babymoon, thank you for having us ☺️

De communicatie met Sophie was heel goed en duidelijk. Ik had vooraf de advertentie niet helemaal goed gelezen en dacht dat er kookgelegenheid was, omdat er wel een koelkast was etc. Een dag vooraf aan verblijf las ik de advertentie nog even goed en kwam ik erachter dat we niet konden koken. Wij verbleven er 3 nachten, dan is zelf een keer koken ook fijn. Sophie heeft wel een juiste omschrijving gegeven, zelf had ik beter moeten lezen. Ondanks dat het water nog wat koud was, hebben de kinderen wel kunnen genieten van het zwembad. En de speelgelegenheid in de tuin was heel fijn. Hele grote pluspunten! Verder vond ik de badkamer fijn en was het prettig dat de bedden al opgemaakt waren voor ons vieren. We hebben genoten van de mooie omgeving van New Forest National Park.

Set on the outskirts of Bashley, we are just a minutes drive from the very popular Ferndene Farm shop for fresh fruit, veg, baked goods and more, and a minutes drive to Bashley stores which has all the basics you might need. Redcliffe garden centre and cafe is also just a minute up the road, and does good coffees and breakfasts with a peaceful courtyard to enjoy when the weather is nice. All these things are walkable, however as we are in a rural setting, there are no pavements, so we wouldn't recommend this to guests. New Milton is also just a 2 or 3 minute drive away (or a 20 minute walk through the peaceful backroads) with lots of shops and cafes including pharmacies, a large morrisons, a very large M&S foodhall, a fab bakers called Breadport and a Micro pub which sources lots of interesting beers, ales and ciders from around the country. We have local pubs just a couple of minutes drive away, as well as some nice eateries at the cliff top at Barton on Sea - just ask us if you would like some recommendations!
New Milton train station is just a few minutes drive away and has good links to Bournemouth and Southampton and other coastal villages and towns, as well as good links to London.
There is free parking at the property. Locally, there is free parking for up to an hour on the highstreet, and car parks are very reasonably priced, most of which payable by parking apps. The train station car park is also very reasonable with fees under £5 per day during the week, and £5 for the weekend (although do check these prices for the most up to date fees!)
