Mikes home was the perfect getaway. He gave us great communication, while also giving us space. He started the fire for us before we arrived, and also started the sauna for us as well. The home itself felt very homey and peaceful. It was worth every penny and more to stay there. Will be back.

Mikes place was a great place for us to spend our thanksgiving weekend. We had never stayed in Port Albion, and it was so peaceful and private. The hot tub was relaxing, and the wood stove was so cozy!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt bei Marthe und Mike. Das Haus ist toll und war perfekt für uns beide mit Baby. Auch als Paar oder Freundesgruppe ist es wunderbar geeignet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das Haus ist total gemütlich eingerichtet und die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Mit Holzofen und / oder Heizung wird es auch bei kühleren Temperaturen schön warm. Zudem konnten wir jederzeit den Whirlpool und die Sauna nutzen. Besonders haben wir uns an den Tomaten aus dem Gewächshaus und dem leckeren Lachs, den Mike selbst fängt, erfreut. Ach ja, die Umgebung ist natürlich top. Man ist schnell sowohl in Ucluelet als auch Tofino. Die Strände und Wanderwege des Pacific Rim Nationalparks sind ebenso ganz in der Nähe. Wir hoffen, irgendwann wiederkommen zu können!

Such a cozy adorable space. We felt so comfortable. The sauna was such a nice touch, we loved the big table for games and meals. Highly recommend this space!!

I traveled with a group, and we absolutely loved our stay at Albion Oasis. I will 110% be staying there again. Mike and Marthe were simply splendid hosts. Incredibly responsive, sharing the best surf spots for the week’s particular swell direction, and even procuring us some freshly caught Coho salmon. I have visited this area of Vancouver Island many times, but this was my favorite spot that I have stayed by far. It’s a little more off the beaten track (if you’re thinking of heading to either Tofino or Ucluelet) but SO WORTH IT. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and genuinely is a delight to simply be at the house. After surfing / beaching everyday, we were always so stoked to go home and use the sauna / hot tub, chill by the fire, cook in the lovely kitchen, and just use the house. The beds were super comfortable, the bathroom functional and pristine. The house was honestly so cool, I found myself sketching the layout to (maybe?) someday build myself this exact home somewhere / someday.
