This island was absolutely perfect for our family of four. My teen and tween loved the black tipped reef sharks, sting rays, all the water activities, and the fun guys driving the boat. My husband loved not having to deal with other people unless he wanted to. I loved the large area of shallow snorkeling that made me worry less about the kids, and I also loved the funny crabs that provided us with endless entertainment. If you are looking but hesitating, just book it! The family bonding that goes on here is just priceless.

It’s hard to believe this island is an air bnb rental. When I saw the the ad…all resort ideas became obsolete and rightfully so. The island is on its own atoll so you are surrounded by shallow and coral rich waters. Snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding is incredible here. There are four sleeping huts that are truly authentic and well maintained. The main hut with dining/kitchen is a great place to commune and feel the history of the island as it is a special one in itself. You can feel the love here and you begin to see how much hard work has gone into making such a beautiful island a home. One visit to the outdoor bathroom was better than 10 years of therapy. It’s heaven. You can walk around the entire island in about 20 minutes. Each side of the island has its own remarkable view that should be experienced everyday as the weather will bring in heavenly views. Kate, the housekeeper and the boat captains are truly genuine and kind souls that made my experience unforgettable.

Les fonds en face du ponton sont superbes. Il y a quelques voisins ( Crabes, Chats, Poules, Petits requins pointe noire) Je recommande. Franck

We can't say enough about Kate and her magical island! I've never stayed in such a unique and extraordinary place. If you told me that the charge was 5K per day, I would say that is about right- it is the best deal for the most amazing property. Had 3 little kids with us, and they could just roam free on the island all day long. The captain (that comes with your stay with his boat- he is just wonderful) arrives each morning with fresh croissants, and took us to the most amazing snorkeling spots off of Tahiti. You get maid service every day, and other than that you are completely isolated in the best way. An area for bon fires, outdoor eating areas, hammock, are just some of my favorite spots. I will never forget this. Don't stay in a boring hotel or a suburban house - this is so much better! Stars at night are simply magical. Our next stop is the Four Seasons Bora Bora and we seriously don't want to go and would rather stay here! Totally incredible for families and friends. Book it!

A+++!!! Sensational property!!! This very special airbnb is more than a place to stay. It is a whole island experience!! Having a whole motu to ourselves was fantastic! We are a family of 5 and we had an absolute ball swimming in the ocean, kayaking, lounging on the beaches looking back at amazing views of Tahiti and little Tahiti. Our teen kids were taught how to crack open coconuts and they thought was really cool! At night we BBQ'd dinner and ate around a campfire. Kate is an exceptional host and helped to make sure we were all set for our stay. Our local host, Manea was outstanding! He could not have been more accommodating on helping with transportation, groceries and day excurisons snorkeling and getting out on the water. Manea even went the extra mile showing us how to make Poisson Cru from a family recipe! Our teen boys really enjoyed getting to know Manea. A dream stay and we will visit again!!!
