Host cancelled 20/30mins before check in due to the weather damaging the boiler and that the hot tub couldn’t be cleaned. That is fair enough. But I was told about this when I was 20mins away from the lodge left stranded without anywhere else to stay. Why I wasn’t told in the morning is beyond me. The host then never cancelled through air BnB and have been absolute murder to get a hold off. As they never cancelled through air BnB I am no having to contact support team who are chasing them so I can get a refund. I am not out of pocket for this stay, as well as the other air BnB I had to find and also out of extra money on fuel. It has been horrendous dealing with this company. Avoid at all costs.
