Great value and amazing location ! I did send message on air BnB platform after I checked out as I forgot my insulin and didn’t get any reply at all for 2days ! However, couple of days later I managed to get in touch with Jamie - the co-host and he was absolutely amazing at sorting things out Will definitely stay again when I’m next in the area

I am spending several months in Ashford following a family bereavement. I spent just under £2000 for a month's rent, hoping to book another of Helen and Ally's apartments if it worked out. I decided not to do so for the following reasons: 1. The sole source of heating in the bathroom - a towel rail- did not work for the whole of my stay. Despite messaging and several calls to the host and 2 complaints to Airbnb I had to put up with a cold bathroom. 2. The flat was not as clean as it might be- scraps of food on the carpet, a layer of dust on light switches, skirtingboards, etc. 3. There were serious problems for which the host was not responsible but which adversely affected my stay: the doors to the street did not close properly so the building was not secure and the common areas had not been cleaned for months. After quite a fight I finally won my case and got a 30% refund from Airbnb. Airbnb called me from the US. A different person each time. Overall, a pretty poor show.
