Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot, highchair and 2 stairgates. Welcome pack. Front garden with garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. Welcome to Greenbank, a beautiful two-bedroom cottage in the picturesque village of Veryan. If you want to get away from crowds, this is the place to be. The Roseland Peninsula is an Area of Outstanding Beauty, where you are surrounded by stunning beaches, hidden coves, lush gardens and glorious countryside. Although close to the local pub and village shop, the cottage nestles in a secluded subtropical garden, with the tree ferns and camellias for which Cornwall is famous. It is a peaceful retreat, where the owners have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, from the cosy bedrooms to the well-equipped kitchen. After a busy day, snuggle up in the living room in front of the wood burner if it is a chilly night, or sit under the stars with a drink in the private garden, hearing only the owls. It’s ideal for couples and families – there is so much to do, from seeing the Roundhouses to exploring the 13th-century church, visiting Melinsey Mill for a cream tea, or popping into Veryan Gallery. The idyllic fishing village of Portloe is only 1½ miles away and sheltered Pendower Beach 1½ miles, great for family swimming and exploring rock pools. While you are here a trip to St Mawes is essential, where you can wander around the small harbour, explore the castle or take a boat trip. There are lots of places to eat in the area, offering choices from a popular hotel to fish and chips, if you don’t fancy cooking! The local shop and post office just at the end of the lane is convenient for picking up basic items, fresh fruit and vegetables. Free WiFi Can comfortably fit up to 4 people

Lovey place to stay. Everything you need was there. Kitchen very well stocked Owners have thought of everything. Only thing for us was the top landing with half steps being disabled and mobility problems. Thankfully owner had light outside. Having own bathroom was great. Garden was out of the world Parking was difficult with large car.
Lovely comfortable cottage in a great location. We had a brilliant holiday. Cottages .com are terrible at communicating. Had to resolve a date change through Airbnb directly who were very helpful.
Cottage was lovely - very homely. Comfortable, clean, well equipped, beautiful private garden. For the wet weather the washing machine and tumble dryer were very handy. Very nice pub less than 1 minutes walk away that did nice food (when googling we found local press reports of food standards issues at the start of 2024 but these seem to be resolved so would not let this put you off! There were locals eating and drinking as well as tourists so clearly no ongoing issue.) Few minor negatives. It has a lovely log burner in the cottage but you need to buy your owner wood, fire lighters and matches. I sent the owners a message via the airbnb app on the first night because a tv remote was not working, I had no response so followed up a few days later. At the end of the week break I still had no response even to acknowledge the message (it was marked as read) and remote still not working! This is why I marked communication low in the review. But overall we lived our stay.

Great cottage, very quiet village location. Inside was very clean and very well equipped for a relaxing stay. The weather was wet and windy, so we appreciated the log burner, and relaxing lounge. Would happily return. Thanks.
