The house is in a beautiful location. Patate is a beautiful safe and friendly village. There are lots of nature walks and nature activities to do nearby. Negatives: the cabin is very very small and not worth the money, for $3000 per month in Ecuador you can find mansions on Airbnb. This house is tiny has 1 tiny television and no washer or dryer. The host unfortunately is completely dishonest. Charged us for washing our clothes, making money on top of the cleaning fee from the laundrette, by charging us double their fee. She also agreed to give us 2 days rent money back before we arrived. Then at the end completely refused and broke her previous promise, all to steal $100 that we trusted in good faith she would return. Beautiful surroundings but it’s such a shame there is people in this world who value money more than morals and honesty.

We loved this place wonderful change from the city life to the country life. Adriana was the best she hosted us wonderfully and had a little charcuterie set up for us with local wine. Her place is so charming and very comfortable. The outdoor part is beautiful with the views of the Patate river and full of luscious green surroundings. You and your family will have a great time here enjoy !

Glamping in Patate was an incredible booking. The cabin is very cozy, and new. The hot tub was nice and hot, and the jets worked great. The view off the deck faced West for amazing sunsets every night. Would definitely book again!

We loved it as a quiet place to rest. The hot tub is fantastic and the views are epic. The cabin could use a little more ventilation, and there is a security light that makes the bedroom bright at night despite the curtains. We had a little trouble with the security alarm acting up a couple times. Other than that, we loved it and booked an extra night.
