I cannot recommend Nel’s place highly enough. The location is quiet, beautiful, extremely secure and has a lovely pool. Nel is extremely kind and very accommodating, she really looked out for us during our stay. Excellent value for money and definitely worth a visit.

There are few guest houses on this beautiful and quiet property. The common pool is clean and intimate. Nel is very welcoming and will help you with everything you need. Wifi was good enough to work online. One of the best sleep I had in the country, where it can be quite noisy at night. Please expect some lizards and bugs, this is rural Nicaragua. There is not much things to do around, which was fine with us, since we just came to relax and enjoy. Consider renting a car if you want to explore the area. No regrets, will come back again! No shortage of praise to give to Nel, and the groundskeepers Jairo and Miguel. Firstly, Nel is an outstanding host. She went out of her way to pick us up at our arrival and Masatepe, drop us off a month later. With any small issue that arose, as happens in longer stays (1 month), she made sure it was taken care of promptly. Always responsive, and always helpful. On a more personal note, Nel is simply delightful. It was always a pleasure bumping into her on the grounds, by the pool, etc. Also want to take a moment to shower Jairo and Miguel with praise. Besides being stratospherically helpful, they are an inseparable light to our wonderful experience. Kind and friendly, any time spent with them was nothing short of a treat. The home is a daydream. The nature is paradise. Singlehandedly the best Air BnB experience I’ve had, and I look forward to returning. Nicaragua wouldn’t have been a quarter of the experience it was without Nel, Jairo, and Miguel.

It was a pleasure staying at Nel’s villas. The house was equipped with everything we needed, it was spotless clean and the personal touches and attention to detail throughout the house and the property made a difference in our stay. The place was peaceful and beautiful, it was exactly what we were looking for and we will definetely stay there again.

The stay at Nel was fantastic. The house is very clean and equipped with everything you need for a stay. The view from the terrace is beautiful, we watched a lot of birds and butterflies and the whole place is so peaceful. You can unwind, take a deep breath and come to rest. The property is very large, Nel gave us a tour (thanks again for that!) - it's very interesting and everything is so well thought out and so beautifully designed for the community. It has enriched us to be here and expanded our knowledge - thank you Nel for the beautiful days.
