Like a stay at grandmas country farm, the stay was wonderful. Our 2 bedroom suite had everything we needed, and it was clean and tidy and quiet, and the beds were super comfortable. I really loved the porch off my bedroom that overlooked the indoor coy pond solarium. It was absolutely charming here, there were wild flowers and ephemerals blooming on the grounds, and we even fed the zebra and goats and ponies some carrots. The location for our golf trip was perfect, only 20 minutes from each of the 3 courses, and we could easily head into town for brew pubs and dinner at Isabella’s in the evening. Four days wasn’t enough so we will surely be back to stay again! It was like a step back in time with country simplicity and charm and really made you feel relaxed. We also enjoyed the sound of the “choo choo” train as it passed by in the evening, the sound of a time gone by. It was a memorable stay and we would love to come back. Joe was an excellent host, and made us feel very welcome!

Great location with excellent privacy. Loved the old manor ambiance, and Joe was a fantastic host. The Scientist Suite, complete with a kitchenette, perfectly met our needs. Serene and beautiful surroundings with lovely trees and a long driveway. Despite being in the countryside, it's conveniently located within five minutes of retail and restaurants. Hope to return soon!

I was very impressed with the how clean and well stocked with daily essentials it was. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice getaway.
