We enjoyed our stay at José Manuel and Maria’s house. It’s new, amazing furniture, incredible views, close to the see (10 minutes walking). We’d definitely come back again.

Wir haben als Familie mit drei Kindern das Ferienhaus genutzt. Die Architektur des Hauses ist hervorragend (auch wenn es hier und da schon ein paar Gebrauchsspuren gibt). Das Haus ist sehr hell mit vielen Glasflächen, die sich als Schiebetüren öffnen lassen und so ergibt sich gerade mit der Größe der Räume ein außergewöhnlich schönes Ambiente, das zum Verweilen einlädt - sehr erholsam! (gelegentlich gab es aber auch etwas Baulärm von zwei benachbarten Baustellen, im ganzen aber erträglich). Der Ausblick auf die Bucht ist traumhaft schön, gerade auch durch die Höhenlage. Die Möblierung ist geschmackvoll passend zum modernen Haus und hat uns sehr gefallen, auch die Bäder sind toll. Zum nächsten Strand sind es fußläufig ca. 10 Minuten, zurück braucht man allerdings etwas länger (da bergauf;-). José Manuel und María sind sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die jederzeit ansprechbar waren und immer schnell und informativ geantwortet haben (via WhtsApp).

At the end of our stay the host tried to make us pay for some furniture that we didn’t break. This is a tentative of scam that is heavily affecting us as he is asking 610€ for two plastic chairs (that - again - we didn’t break!). The housekeeper provided by the host tried to charge us for more hours than she actually worked and she also shot some pictures of the apartment during the stay that she then sent to the host putting heavily at risk our privacy. The host asked us to pay for it in cash without giving us any receipt.

We stayed at Maria and José’s house for five nights with our two kids. It is a new beautiful contemporary house, equipped with everything you would need for a long stay. The surroundings are truly peaceful with an amazing views from the living room balconies and the gardens. A short walk or drive to some of the best beaches in Costa Brava as well less than 10 minutes from the many restaurants and stores in the town near by. Hospitality of the owners was wonderful. They gave us a list with suggestions with some great places to visit in Costa Brava and made sure our stay was comfortable. We will definitely stay again and recommend it to friends!
