Place is okay, needs refreshing. The management company was great. For the price I think the quality of the accommodations would be better. But overall we had a great time and they had what was advertised. Just felt a bit dingy and old.

The house is spacious, private, and peaceful. The amenities were nice and clean. We would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed the property for a family get-together. Property was almost as advertised. Two items stood out: the fifth bedroom appeared to actually be a large closet with a bunk bed. There are no windows and it can only be accessed through an adjoining bedroom; the interior is a bit dated & could use fresh paint & new carpets. Otherwise, excellent location!

This was a great house! The house looked just like the photos, was 20 mins from downtown Asheville, gorgeous home, private area in the mountains, with lots of rooms/beds! The only item that wasn't clear in the description is that the bunk room is inside of one of the king rooms - you have to walk through the king room to get the bunk room. We ended up not using that room so it wasn't a big deal for us, but we had originally planned on using it and that would've been helpful information to have. The house was clean and fairly well maintained. The hosts provided black towels for removing makeup, along with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in every bathroom which was a nice touch! An improvement that could be made - a better water heater for a house this large would be nice! We had eight women in this house and even with staggering showers, there was not enough hot water to go around. Overall though - the house was just what we needed and we had a great time staying here! Recommend!

They grossly overcharged us. $9,000+ for a house that rents for $3,000 a week but it was in between xmas and NY, so everyone charges high. Problem was: Place was not clean. Pet hair from previous guests all over our clothes for 2 to 4 days, caked on dust on the overhead fans, grill was the most disgusting grill, hot tub had little white particles floating in it, floors turned your socks black, walls had stains, a few holes, lots of patching and touch up paint spots, dead bugs, dishes all had to be cleaned, showers/tubs have yellow stains and gross shower curtains, and a few more. The place is an abused rental house that is in dire need of a makeover. I will say that AvantStay management crew was responsive, offered to clean (we declined as we already had done so), and gave us $125 back toward the $500 cleaning fee. They also were a huge help in getting back an item left behind. However, the house keeping crew gets an F minus for the awful, pitiful, and shameful cleaning job.
