Vi blev taget imod af Brunildas forældre, som var utrolig imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Vi sejlede over floden med båden, som virkede perfekt. Vi fik en rundtur i huset af Mamma Bruna, og allerede der følte vi os hjemme. Der var handlet lækre lokale varer ind, vi kunne købe til gode priser. Huset er omgivet af de smukkeste bjerge og med den rolige atmosfære, blev det til et rent paradis og være der. En lokal hund kom og besøgte os dagligt. Hun var meget venlig og sød. Vi kan 100 procent anbefale at booke dette fantastiske sted.

we had an awesome week. we didn´t have to worry about a single thing. the house was well stocked witj prices.i deemed very fair esp compared to small local stores. the valley and the river Mat are just stunning. there is a simple restaurant, snackbar not too far from Skopet bridge. just a notice for some the country side does mean you have dogs and other cattle species roaming around... it is you will need to adapt. Kruje, Tirana, Kune Vale for birding are all only one hour away (beware for some traffic jams). the owners have always tried to help with every single question i had. (we were a family of four, one adult and three kids)

We absolutely loved our stay, it was one of our most unique airb&b experiences! We arrived late and checked out early but Brunilda’s parents kindly helped us with our bags at inconvenient times! We were so impressed with the welcome, even though Maria and Brent didn’t speak English, they were incredibly friendly! Nothing was an inconvenience to them and they were happy to help us with whatever we needed during our stay. After the short boat ride over the river, they gave us a tour of the home, lit the fire and we cheered with a glass of raki. The amount of groceries in the home was incredibly helpful too. The boat was €10 a day to use, definitely worth it as the walk to the car otherwise takes about 40 mins. We also fell in love with the local stray dogs, so if any travellers see this and decide to stay, please feed them and give them lots of pets! :)

Would give this 6 stars if it was possible. Brunildas parents were absolutely fantastic and super accommodating along with sharing a drink with us! Scenery is super beautiful and the instructions were super easy as we had someone waiting for us once we showed up. Fantastic first experience in Albania!

A very unique experience. Reminds me of how Air B & B used to be. Very rustic and remote and allows you to escape. Enjoyed meeting Brunilda's parents and sharing a drink with them upon arrival and they had a fire going for us when we got there. I'm not sure how guests would cope without use of the boat, but we had access when we were there and enjoyed taking it out on the river. Also, we had a mini SUV and, from the parking place, we struggled to get back up to the main road. I had to get out and push. Granted it was very wet and stormy, but you might want to bare that in mind- park at the top if the weather doesn't look great.
