We had a disappointing experience. When we arrived there was a very strong smell of damp & there was an issue with damp on the kitchen ceiling, with black mould & a large crack. We later found that this was due to a leak from the bathroom which resulted in water pouring through the kitchen ceiling. This issue had obviously been on going & not resolved properly. Initially communication was very good, with quick responses. Unfortunately the leak started on a Sunday (I do understand that people might not be working) but it took over 24 hours for a response. Some of my other communications were not replied to at all. The house was clean but it was very tired & in much need of some TLC. There was also rubbish left in the outside area. Some of the bedroom doors didn’t shut properly & the heating would come on at random times, such as the middle of the night, making it difficult to sleep. There were things missing that we had been told would be provided. The area had very few amenities.
