The place itself was spacious. Pool view. However, if you plan to stay longer than a month… BEWARE of the utilities. Electricity, WIFI, and gas, is a separate cost, around $100-150 extra / per month, and I agreed thinking this might be normal in Mexico, until I found out later that it’s not. I wish I knew ahead of time. And I will say… it was a HEADACHE, to say the least! Avoid this headache at all costs! The host leaves responsibility on your head and will allow services to be disconnected without giving proper notice, even though the company bills are under her name, she takes no responsibility and it was an issue. I arrived mid-May and the second week at the unit, I already received an electricity bill dated March 28th to May 27th and the host expected I pay for half of it. I was only there for 11 days. I had to correct her that I am not entitled to pay for half of a bill that is for 61 days of service when I just got here. That was the first red flag for me. And also, the host wants you to pay these bills cash. The host did NOT provide these bills ahead of time… as originally agreed, since I need to know the total amount and go to the ATM first to have the exact cash — yet, she provided me the bill for WIFI the “same day it was due”, expecting me to have the amount ready in cash, without knowing how much it is. And then I was told the internet will disconnect if we don’t pay that day, which is July 15th. I gave the cash a couple days after and all should have been fine as internet was still connected. However, WIFI disconnected on July 21st at 10am. I found out they never paid for the wifi until July 21st 11:18am, after the internet was already disconnected… I work remotely online and lost an important client / meeting that day… Not only was this a mistake of the host, she also BLAMED me that it’s my fault, because I should have paid July 15th… when the host never sent me the bill prior to that day in the first place and expected me to pay on the spot without knowing the amount, without any advance notice and then on top of it took my cash and didn’t pay the bill until after it disconnected. Also, had a stressful issue with the electricity in August. So just be real clear with the host about expectations for these bills as you’re given literally zero notice to pay them. Mistakes happen. But being blamed for something that was not my fault from the host was very stressful and irritating, on top of being pregnant in first trimester dealing with all of this stress. Annoying! NOTE: The place was infested with ants when we arrived and I was told this is “normal” due to the location. It was far from normal. Make sure host exterminates before arrival for long-term stays. I had to ask the host for weeks before a resolution was resolved for an extermination because it was so bad, and again the host made me feel like it was something I was doing to attract the ants, but it was not my fault. Also, if you’re looking for a quiet place, then this is not it. You are facing the pool and the pool is always busy with vacationers & families, blasting their music all day until nighttime. The building also has thin walls and ceilings so you can literally hear every little movement of the unit upstairs. Even their toilet flushing. Not a quiet place. You are located in middle of nowhere. Hard to get a taxi. You must walk down to the main road near highway which is like 10 min walk. Or pay extra for a call-in service taxi. If it wasn’t for Vanessa, the hosts sister who lives nearby and helps, who was so kind and helpful, being the in the middle of all of this, I would have canceled my stay. Fortunately, her empathy and kindness helped subdue my frustration I had with the original host and we were able to resolve our issues respectfully, thanks to her. 🙏

Excelente, desde el primer día se comportó super atenta a las necesidades que surgieron, no tardo en dar solución a temas de dudas; el apartamento en excelente ubicación. Las cosas dentro del lugar están en completo orden... Definitivamente un lugar para descansar 100% recomendado.
