The Village Headman's Bungalow was very comfortable for our group of 3 generations. The younger ones enjoyed the pool and the outdoors while the older ones the hospitality and the nostalgic travel back in memory to the good old days of courtyards and spacious areas. Most guests will thoroughly enjoy this place, even if or because it is away from the hustle and bustle of Bentota.

The host was always responsive and quick to reply. The Caretakers/Staff at the Bunglow are aged couple but are the best. The Bunglow was an old one so you will get some smell but it was very neat and clean. There is an outdoor pool surrounded by coconut and other trees and still it was as neat as it can be and was also beautiful. Caretakers have taking very good care of the house. We stayed for 2 Nights and had her cook food and it was very tasty and delicious. They did prepare what we had asked for. This was our first Srilankan Experience and they ensured it was a great. The amount we paid for cooking was worth every rupee. Overall a great place to stay without a doubt.

A heritage property with beautiful architecture and gardens. The caretaker there, Padma is just so so amazing. Go there just for her hospitality. She will make you feel at home from the moment you get in. The property is about 10mins from the beach, very quite area. If that’s what you are looking for then it perfect. It’s a great place for families, lots of open space and large rooms.

It is a great location with a beautiful surrounding atmosphere. They are the most friendly and helpful caretakers ever. Everything about the place was exceptional. It was a clean, classical stylish room with excellent service wherein the house is more than 100 years old with all antique ornaments which was well maintained. where we had dinner and an amazing breakfast. Food was at its best and the caretaker's cooking was out of the world (the main reason is that she cooked our food with pure love) and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. The room itself was well-equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. And I Highly recommend travellers to stay at this property. kudos to the caretakers and the friendly owner (who was responsive & super flexible with our requirements) Thanks for the Amazing Hospitality. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

In the first place it was diffivult to find the place as the location pin is near Bentota, but the property in fact is in Induruwa. The villa is quite old, yet authentic and the best of it is the adorable hosts. We enjoyed some good local breakfast. Nice. The pool is as it looks on the pictures. Would be happy to come back.
