Holiday in Perth was wonderful. Reg and Karen are wonderful hosts. They are very friendly and respectful to their guests. It feels like I was on a trip to my grandparents' house. I will never forget mornings and sunset, greeted by black swans and other birds at the lake and park. I would like to visit again🥰

Thanks Reg and Karen for being wonderful hosts, I loved our conversations and your local knowledge of the area. It was great coming back from a hard days sight seeing and visiting friends, to a comfortable and quiet room to rest. I also really enjoyed the water view walks around the property.

I was seeking a quiet, calm and relaxing break from my home in Singapore and that is exactly what I got. The Maylands Peninsular is indeed a hidden gem offering all manner of beautiful walks in the parks and reserves around the Swan River extending into natural bush where nature abounds. Reg and Karen were just incredible hosts, with kind hearts and endearing personalities which I most certainly appreciated beyond all expectations. The room was spacious as was the bathroom and the kitchen - One had access to most of this impressive house including a 2nd floor lounge area and a balcony overlooking the Swan River. The outside garden offered close up views of the lake which was home to so many Teals, Ducks, Ibis, Coots, Mallards and other interesting water fowl, not to mention hundreds of white cockatoo's. The star of the show was a Black Swan, whom I gather turns up every year and waits for his daily feed from animal lover Karen. Such a wonderful 9 days of tranquility and joy.

Great host! The best room I’ve ever been on Airbnb. Especially the lake and surrounding are beautiful and impressive.
