Our large family ( 6 adults, 3 children, 2 dogs) had a great time at Dragon Fly Hideaway. The house is in a quiet location and had everything we needed. Lots of space and different sleeping areas for our large group. As with other guests, we enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, fire pit and loved being able to all sit and eat at large kitchen table! Communication with host Melissa was easy. Definitely a place to keep in mind if we come back in that area.

The house is great with beautiful mountain sunset views. We had a lot of fun around the pool table and in the hot tub.

The cabin had an odor of sewage. It was not accurately described as it was not accurate accommodations for 8 people. There was a noise on the bottom floor in the laundry room of a tank or water heater or something which could be heard all day every day. The only person who did not hear it was my 77 year old father. The beds are unbelievably uncomfortable. I had to steal a futon pad to put on top of my bed to make it bearable. The trash cans were full outside. The view of the next door neighbors place was half shielded by a fence but did not shield the trash thrown all around and the dog kept on a chain who barked nonstop. There was dog crap everywhere which we kept stepping in as whoever stayed there before us let their dogs crap right off the porch and it was not maintained well. There was a leak in the bathroom while we there and we could not use one of the bathrooms and the tub had a slow drain. There is not enough hot water for 8 people. Would not stay again or recommend

The house was beautiful and spacious. I was worried about the switch-backs, but my Honda civic managed just fine. My family was able to spread out, and all three of my young children had their own bed, which was awesome. I had two main complaints: One, it was chilly. The heat wouldn't go up past 68. Melissa reached out and said they were replacing the system after we left, buy that wasn't very helpful for us. There were heaters in some rooms, which were nice, but not enough to keep us warm, especially on the top and bottom floors. Two, the water pump is in a closet on the bottom floor. Any time a toilet flushed or water was run in the house, it made a loud and repetitive noise. With 11 people, that's a lot of noise. I was on the bottom floor with my young children, who complained it was hard to fall asleep. It was very disruptive, but not mentioned at all in the listing or in any reviews. I'm not sure how anyone could miss it. Overall, our stay was pleasant but we wouldn't return.

Great place if you have a large group. Tons of space and the location has a gorgeous view. My family would definitely come here again!
