Enjoyed the location, the lake, beautiful walks in the area. Home very warm and lovely log burning fireplace. Lots of different areas in the home to hang out in. Good response time from the host in dealing with a few issues that arose. Linens could do with updating. Kitchen very well appointed

The pros: - Nice house - clean accommodations - nice sound system The cons: - management company for this property is incompetent, aggressive and conned us into paying them extra money. When we had an issue checking in, the contact info they provided rang a random stranger who said she “gets a lot of Airbnb calls” and the other backup phone number never answered our calls or called back during our 5 day stay. - they asked for additional money to heat the pool (which is fine) and said they would refund us any excess charges for unused propane. When I contacted them after the stay ended to reconcile the excess propane cost they were aggressive and told me they do not issues refunds for unused propane. This is dishonest and contradicted the message they sent me saying otherwise. After showing them the message where they mentioned this refund policy they said we “went over the propane allotment”, which seems odd since they also estimated for warm days it would cost $50 per day to heat the pool. During our stay the weather averaged 87 to 90 degrees outside. They charged us substantially more than $50 prior. They provided no proof for this and I suspect they never checked the meter, especially after being so aggressive and unknowledgeable of their own policy. - Their staff appeared hours before our checkout and started doing maintenance during our stay. This made us feel uncomfortable using the space and we were not notified in advance.

Our family had a nice time at this rental. It’s good for young families and is well equipped with mostly everything you’ll need. Emily was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The home is a little darker than advertised and some of the furniture has seen better day but overall we were thrilled. I will say that the pool heater did not work which was disappointing. Will definitely consider a future stay.

The house was lovely. We had a nice family weekend and really enjoyed the pool. I had expected the lake to be directly on the property but it was across the street and on the opposite side of the house than the pool. Problems we encountered- The house took a bit of time to cool down. At first, some of the bedrooms were extremely hot but eventually they cooled down. There were also fans in the home that helped. The refrigerator wasn’t working when we got to the house. It could have been a disaster but the house manager brought us a cooler and mini fridge to use temporarily. Strangely the fridge began to work again overnight so the disaster was averted. Communication was very easy and overall we had a wonderful time.
