We live in this beautiful area year round. As owners of Battenkill Valley Outdoors for 20 years, (canoe & kayak livery) we enjoy sharing the resources with others- the river, the farms, the open spaces and mountain views we find so visually appealing. We are available to assist with any questions or mishaps - and happy to offer suggestions re: local towns and regional shopping & resources. We strive to offer comfortable living spaces to you, your family, and friends. The Long Lodge, a fun getaway for 18 years, is new to Airbnb as of late 2021. It's spacious grass, and well designed living space lends itself nicely for a relaxing time in the area. The Creekside was our former outfitter shop. Once home to tents, packs, sleeping bags, boats, and gear - now an off-grid log home living space. Situated against trail access to the Battenkill State Forest, both properties offer a quiet, secluded, experience. The Battenkill Valley Outdoors (BVO) shop and check-in has relocated to the adjacent barn. This seasonal operation ( May-Oct) is open for business 4-5 days a week, but closes at approx 5-6 PM. Ground space / parking is shared during open hours, but otherwise, the space is yours.
