Sylvia’s place was better than imagined! The main house and separate casita made for the perfect getaway for our big group with multiple families. Her team was there to greet us when we arrived and provide useful tips for our stay. The beach was the best of both worlds with the ocean and a calmer pool protected by rocks. We traveled w young kids (4 total all under the age of 6) so it was the best of both worlds. The house pool was an added benefit that the kids used frequently. Location was quiet and secluded with gated access. Yabucoa was a short drive away to major grocery store and food while being away from tourist areas. It was within driving distance of some of the major tourists spots (el Yunque, San Juan, etc) so again the best of both worlds. Would highly recommend this location if you want the authentic experience of Puerto Rico

Our family of 6 spent a week at Sylvia’s. What can we say but thank you! Each of our young adult kids had their own spaces and we all had plenty of room for hanging out, cooking, eating and playing. We used the pool multiple times per day and spent hours in the amazing beach just a five minute walk from the house. We had so many plans to go other places, but honestly the house was so perfect that we didn’t want to leave. We enjoyed watching the stray gatos, the chicken (and all her baby chicks!) and the resident iguana. It was a perfect family vacation and we can’t wait to come back.
