We welcome you to stay at Dragoon's last remaining historical site, the JH. Smith building in beautiful Dragoon, AZ. Built in 1915, this building served as the community's grocery store and social hub in the 1900's. Located near the Southern Pacific railroad, guests can enjoy a view of the trains passing by. The historic Butterfield Station is nearby. The attached country store is currently being remodeled and may have work done on occasion. The property owners are sometimes onsite (in RV). The JH Smith building has two bedrooms with several additional sleeping accommodations. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a pull out sofa that will make 1 bed. The second bedroom has a double bed. There are two full size couches as well as a futon in the living room and a blow up mattress available as well. Should comfortably sleep 8. We offer a Harmon Pellet Stove for the main heat as well as several space heaters if needed.
