Carla's place was clean, peaceful, welcoming, in a beautiful setting. I was very comfortable there. She responded to all my questions in a satisfactory way.. I would love to go back

Carla was a gracious host, and met me to see me into Zen Casita, it has its own small private garden, with tropical bird calls and a troop of white-faced monkeys came through one afternoon. it is peaceful. Carla also kindly came to a half-day arrangement so i could get in early to sleep after an overnight flight. the walk-in shower was excellent, the mattress just right. the one problem was that there is the smell of mold in the Casita (not just damp from the rainy season). i spoke with Carla, and she suggested the windows being open at night, and screen doors open during the day. this enhanced the fresh air in the casita but the underlying presence of mold was there. i developed a sore throat which i still have days later. i decided to leave after only 2 of 4 nights, and met with Carla on departure to let her know. she was sorry as she hadn't realized the mold problem. she said she would stay there one night to ascertain and then rectify. Carla refunded the half-day arrangement fee.

Much recommends the apartment of Carla in the La eco villa in San Mateo . Beautiful, clean, communicative and many options on this amazing eco village with big yoga shala, swimming pool, the river nearby and all kind of eco sustainable services growing around , worth visiting

I loved every part of my stay at Carla’s! Super comfortable place, amazing neighborhood, inspiring surroundings/river/amenities, and an incredibly responsive and kind host. Carla took time out of her week to talk me through the many questions I had about the ecovilla way of life. Recommended!
