Wow, what a great house! It's a beautiful place with a log cabin motif, but that doesn't prevent it from being functional and a pleasure to live in (for instance, the fake-log dressers have some of the smoothest drawers I've ever seen). Really appreciate the totally fenced-in deck with steps down to a patch of yard, great for dogs. Beautiful quiet area. The house backs onto a golf fairway. Everything in the house was high quality and worked well. Very nice kitchen/dining, living room, deck, bedrooms, bathrooms.

This is a beautiful home in Lake Almanor West. The house was clean, organized, and kitchen was well stocked on plates/cups/utensils with everything you would need. The house had a beautiful large outdoor deck with a hot tub, fire pit, bbq, and couch that led right to the golf course and is where we spent most of our time on. The inside was comfy (although more couch seating would have been a plus if I could find anything to mention). The downstairs has one primary suite with an open living/kitchen/dining space that goes right out to the deck. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other with a full + 2 trundle beds, and then a loft between with a pullout couch — plenty of space for our large family gathering. Very happy with the space and would definitely stay here again.

This place was beautiful and the cabin was great! Unfortunately when we went it was a heavy weekend of snow and the heater did not work. The hosts were responsive and offered us another cabin, but it was smaller with less beds so we declined. I did appreciate their efforts, but my friends and I decided to bare the cold and stayed in the cabin the remainder of our stay. One of the hosts came by the next day and brought us space heaters and tried to get the heater to work but it did not. The pellet stove didn’t work either. The hot tub worked great and was the main reasons we booked the place. The snowy view was beautiful, the cabin was beautiful, and it was well furnished. I still recommend this place as it is a beautiful location and cozy cabin. On the morning of check out someone came by to help us shovel the driveway. The hosts offered us a refund for one of the nights which we were appreciative of.
