Nice, serene, old-School bungalow in the middle of a densely wooded area. The place offers a great view of both the ice capped dhauladhar peaks and the valley right upto the chamera lake. More than ample parking space and well-kept garden with more than an acre of lawn space provided enough activity to keep us busy even upto noon. So much so that on a good number of days, we did not even feel like venturing out for sightseeing. Combined with the vacant, dilapidated bungalow next door, this property is an anthology of stories waiting to happen.

Stardust and Pines is a very private and peaceful place not so far from Civil Hospital, Subhash Chauk in Dalhousie. You must have a car or bike though, because the walk till Chauk is very steep and long. The place is beautiful, tranquil and isolated. It has a rustic charm. It is a place for 5. One toilet & bathroom. Has a front yard where you can light a bonfire at night (for extra cost for firewood). The house gets cold. The water heater is slow. The room heater is broken. Mobile range is poor. No wi-fi. No water issues. The bathroom was clean. The kitchen is fairly equipped. The helper also provides cooking services. What you must do is stargazing late night or early morning. The view of the valley is beautiful. If you are looking for room service, breakfast or easy taxi access don't prefer this place. But, if you are after an uninterrupted time with a few buddies, stargazing, bird watching, chatting around the bonfire, enjoying basking in sunshine at leisure, this is the place.

Had an amazing experience staying at Stardust & Pines. The property is very close to the market yet tranquil and private. The views of the valley are fantastic especially at night. Mornings are a birdwatcher's delight. Really spacious inside and a large lawn outside. Equipped with a fully functional kitchen including gas stove, refrigerator and microwave oven. You can drive right upto the property and park your vehicle on the premises which is extremely convenient. However do note that it may not be possible to locate this using only the navigation maps and devices. The detailed instructions from host are really handy for this purpose. The host is extremely proactive and responsive in sharing the detailed directions to reach the property, helping us coordinate with the caretaker of the property for our checkin as well as recommending activities in and around Dalhousie. Strongly recommend this to people looking for solitude, bird watching and an 'in the lap of nature' experience.

If you are looking for a peaceful place that brings out your inner heart with joy 😊 you have landed to correct option. Don't expect luxury, just the real feel of life at ridge of a mountain. Highly recommended for group of friends/ couples and families. The property embraced our trip to Dalhousie 🤗🙌🤘
