We truly felt at home the moment we checked in, our home away from home during our ring road trip. Stephanie was the perfect host; she was kind, funny, and respectful. The place was larger than expected with our own private balcony, large and beautiful bathroom. The shared kitchen and living room was well decorated and well stocked. The bed was super comfortable and everything was squeaky clean. Our trip on the ring road has almost concluded but we felt that this Airbnb was the best. Flateryi is a small peaceful village about 15-20 mins from Isafyordur. Stephanie gave recommendation for dinner and history of the local artist who did the local bird murals. Try to find them all around town! We went hiking through the lupines and the weather was perfect!

Stéphanie has been a great host! She knows the region very well and gave us precious advice 👍🏻 she cares about her guests and spent a lot of time with our daughter to tell local stories and show local experiences. The Flateyri swimming pool (free for kids!) is at 1 minute walk. We went at opening time and we had it all for us 🙃

Stephanie was a great host. Her home was wonderful and she had great recommendations and information on the area. The bed in our room was so comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. Beautiful area with great views. Highly recommend.
