The house is more of a home than a "rental". We found what we needed just like we were told, the house was clean and neat when we arrived, it was hot when we got there from being closed up all day. Opened the windows and it was cooled off in no time. We did use the bedroom A/C units that night, they worked great. The beds were very comfortable so sleeping was excellent. The bathrooms were very clean and well stocked with nice thick towels and gel soap, conditioner, and shampoo. The area is absolutely beautiful. A short walk to the beach in the morning, 5 minutes if you are older like me, to watch the sunrise is amazing and watching the sunset at Sunset Beach is like living on a postcard. Lots of fun stuff for the kids to do with the beach gear at the house, my grand daughters loved it. Great hiking if you are up to a walk or a climb, the kids hiked up to an old pillbox, the view was incredible so they tell me. The USS Arizona is a must see, a very solemn place. Thank you Cathy.

We loved our stay and it felt as if we were right at home. The beach was just a few minute walk away to watch beautiful sunrises and play in the water. If you want a Hawaii experience away from the city, this is the place! Cathy was a great host.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely super clean comfy home. There was ample room for eight of us to have our own space, & the spacious living & kitchen area was a sweet spot to gather for meals & games. Having three very clean full bathrooms was a bonus for all of us getting ready in the mornings with minimal wait time. Beds & linen were comfy. Hawaii winter is hotter then our kiwi summer so the aircon & fans in the bedrooms were a cool relief. A well equipped kitchen & home. We turned up half hour early for our booking & Cathy & family helped us with getting our luggage & shopping bags into the house. Thank you Cathy & family for allowing us to have a great base for our north shore stay.

Great location on the North Shore, well appointed home, and gracious host. Walking distance to a very nice beach and grocery, about a mile from Polynesian Cultural Center, and ~20 min from sharks cove and sunset beach. Great kitchen and full laundry plus 3 bedrooms made this a great location for our larger family. Appreciated the beach chairs, grill, and multiple board games!
