Our group of 8 stayed for 5 days. The rooms are modern and clean, the bathroom and hot showers were nice. The nice gathering space was great for our group after a long day in clinic. They are great hosts. We will be back.

My granddaughter and 2 grandsons said this was the best place they have ever visited. I would agree and we'll be back soon. Can't believe this Eco Guest House is in the middle of this beautiful place.

I loved getting a chance to experience traditions and life in a Mayan village, while feeling safe and comfortable. The room was spotless and the breakfast was amazing. A highlight for me was arranging to go into the home of one of the local women and try making tortillas on her woodstove. I also was able to hire a truck to take me to Lake Chicibal. Go on a Sunday if possible - there were all sorts of ceremonies taking place around the lake. It is a beautiful hike any day though. I appreciate that the money earned from my stay provides jobs and goes back into the education and medical programs on the site.
