We can’t thank Brian and Stacey enough for hosting us. We would’ve been lost without their host recommendations for the BEST time ever in Pedasi and the surrounding areas. Our young family swam, explored, ate and relaxed to our heart’s content. This epic adventure really was centered around the home base that they provided. The home was immaculate and comfortable, with space to spread out. Every room was decorated and furnished with families and groups in mind, and this was done so well. Our kids played for hours on the skate park and treehouse. There were games to play inside and out that kept us the kind of “busy” you should be while being on vacation. Brian and Stacey’s natural gift of hosting was evident in every detail, and the rich history of Panama that was shared by them really enriched the experience for us. They were super responsive hosts, and I can’t say enough good about them and our experience. Thank you so much again!

My group of 9 stayed at Brian’s place with 4 kids aged 8-12. The beach was an easy 4-5 min walk from the house. Our hosts were full of suggestions for fun activities within 30 min of the area. We were able to enjoy a great day on Isla Iguana and come back to enjoy an afternoon at the pool while we prepped a nice dinner. Kids were entertained. This is a great place for a group especially if you’re traveling with kids. We would happily stay here again!

This place is a legitimate hidden gem. Not only is the property great with plenty of space, a playground and skatepark, and a pool, it has great views of the beach, which is barely a 5 minute walk away. You can wonder for miles up and down the beach and along the roads where you’ll see iguanas, families of howler monkeys, and maybe even a glimpse of Jorge, the canal cayman. If you want to surf or fish, you will have plenty of space to yourself and won’t have to compete with any crowds. But what really makes this place stand out is the people. The hosts are amazing, communicative, and tied into the community (they truly know everyone). They have hundreds of great suggestions for activities and places to eat. They are absolutely invested in making sure you have an amazing experience. If you want to experience an unforgettable and authentic Panama, you will not beat this place.

Villa Aura is the perfect entertainer’ s house. It has various living spaces and something to please everyone in the family. Pretty much everything is new and in perfect condition. The house is packed with entertainments like the skate park, the tree house, the zip line, the indoor basketball game, the pizza oven and the huge bbq, the home cinema,…. We all had a blast. We also really appreciated that there are different units to host friends and family. Maria the housekeeper was great and you can ask her to cook some delicious local food. The house is very quiet and right next to the beautiful Destilladeros beach. This is truly paradise. For surfers, there is a quality right hand reef break walking distance. There are other options in the immediate area with different breaks for every level. All breaks are pretty tide-sensitive but our host Brian was very dialed-in and pointed us in the right direction. Amazingly enough given the quality of the waves we surfed, it was always just our party in the water or sharing the waves with only Brian. The surf in this area is a very well kept secret. There’s no world class waves but you can score quality reefs and beach breaks with literally no-one out ! I have done surf trips all around the world and although surfing was not the main purpose of this holiday, I’d rate this area as having the best quality to crowd ratio I’ve experienced. Overall a great stay. We can t thank enough Brian and Stacey for being so welcoming and reactive hosts.
