The White House is a little piece of paradise nestled in the hills of the Transkei. The views are breathtaking, the decor, furniture and appliances excellent and the surprise of solar was a bonus. Sisipho was so pleasant and helpful. Tasmin was proactive with her messages and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. I would definitely recommend The White House.

It was just what we needed - a peaceful and relaxing stay at a great location. Fishing experience was great but not easy to get to. Sisipho, the helper, was very good and helpful throughout our stay. We had issues with the TV connection but didn’t really miss it. The only inconvenience was the microwave oven that didn’t work, which apparently was not reported to the host. Load-shedding was not a problem due to the on-site generator. Overall, it’s a lovely cottage that’s very well furnished and equipped. The local community ensures that the area is safe and secure. Well worth the visit.

Beautiful tranquil space, comfortable yet simple, perfect for a beach cottage. Fully equipped kitchen, lots of fridge space, comfortable furniture for lounging on the deck. Kids loved the pool table & dart board too. It’s a steep walk to the beach / lagoon but good exercise! Locals were excellent with providing us with seafood daily..such a treat. Very kind & helpful domestic lady to assist. Can’t wait to go back!
