Dona and David thought of pretty much everything a guest might want or need. Their Quonset hut was unique, comfortable, neat and well-renovated. I noticed that most of the windows allowed us to look right out onto the lake. It was the perfect place to have a weekend getaway with a son who likes to fish and enjoys local wildlife. We took several trips out onto the lake in the kayaks to fish and, with the help of a neighbor, found the lake on the other side of the road, through a culvert. While out, we had encounters with a variety of wildlife: turtles, swans, deer, herons and ducks, not to mention a few bass and bluegill. We would both be glad to return for another stay, but maybe after my younger son gets a turn.

This place was exactly what we were looking for a weekend escape. Peaceful and cozy. We also found it to be/feel more spacious than the pictures had lead us to expect. We definitely hope to stay here again in the future!

Thank you for allowing us to stay! Would be a perfect lake home! Also we appreciate you being so nice about my brother and my niece stop over for the new year. Would rent again! Happy new year
