We absolutely loved our stay! The place is spacious, beautiful, and is the perfect cozy cabin ambiance. The property is tucked away and private; We were awestruck while stargazing since the area is not exposed to light pollution. The sauna was a wonderful treat after hiking around Pictured Rocks (which is only about 20 mins away). There is plenty of cookware to use which we loved since we cooked all our meals. We would definitely stay here again when we visit the UP again next year. :-)

This cabin is a great place for a relaxing getaway. It is slightly hidden from the road, but once you’ve found it, it’s a wonderful place. It’s spacious, was clean, and had everything my family needed. The cabin isn’t too far from local trails, landmarks, and there’s a couple good restaurants. Highly recommend Duane’s cabin to anyone who’s looking for a stay in Shingleton.

Great view each morning overlooking the lake!! The house was very clean and felt right at home. Only downfall, which is not any fault of the hosts is having Verizon phone and not having service to find the house. We had a great time and would 100% recommend this rental!!!

We had great accommodations at the Lily lake home! The lake views were beautiful, there were thoughtful touches throughout the home, and the hosts were fantastic with responsive messages and local recommendations for our family adventures. The only challenge was the amount of mosquitoes outside and inside in the home, but a high number is expected in northern Michigan woods and locals mentioned this is one of the worst years for mosquitoes. Overall it was a great location for a weekend home away from our home to explore the Pictured Rocks lakeshore!
