What a lovely home! A group of 14 of us stayed here for a hen weekend and it was perfect for what we needed. The extra space in the dining room was excellent for a cocktail making evening, and the house itself is beautiful. It was clean and tidy when we arrived, although one of the bedrooms was not made up as advertised which meant we had to do some reconfiguring ourselves. Wonderful stay and would definitely come back. My only pointers would be that perhaps the master bedroom is not appropriate for children to be entering, due to the “adult” nature of some of the artwork, and it would have been useful to have access to more tea towels and space in the freezer in the kitchen. Other than that, was brilliant. Thanks!

The house was perfect for our weekend away. The house had lots of space, the beds were comfortable and clean and the kitchen had lots of facilities. Caroline was quick to respond to any messages or queries. The only disappointment was the garden: there was lots of rubbish and broken equipment scattered around and a bouncy castle in the middle of the garden. Although it was winter so we weren't outside much we would have been disappointed had it have been summer.

Claims seven bedrooms when it has six & second floor room had temp partition to make two areas. No curtains; temp blackouts. Two of the beds were single mattresses placed on the floor. A kitchen cupboard had a terrible smell. Grill pan had been used but not cleaned. Fridge was partially full and not very clean; hairs in ice on the back of the fridge Games room sofa bed wasn't clean, with spilled drink on the cushions, a slice of old pizza under the base and used sheets. Toilet on the ground floor had no toilet seat. Bed linen was not the cleanest, and some towels had stains and marks. Outside area was very untidy, bags of stones at the front, a deflated bouncy castle, wooden pallets, and waste kitchen rubbish Electricity failed due to insufficient credit on the meter. It could be a great place, but not like this. Very disappointed with the overall standard and a lack of attention to the basics

Caroline’s house was amazing. Stunning house with great amenities. Not far from Chester so easily got a taxi from Caroline’s recommendations. Felt right at home at the house, was the perfect setting for a wknd with friends. Amazing stay x
