Overall, I really enjoyed my stay in this Martinsburg Airbnb! I stayed in this Airbnb for a little over a month while I was commuting to grad school at Shenandoah University. This Airbnb is a great option for other students in this position. It's only a 30 minute commute to Winchester, VA, and the Airbnb prices in Martinsburg tend to be much more affordable. The apartment was mostly as pictured, and is absolutely beautiful! The Airbnb host was pretty responsive, and dealt with most minor issues that popped up during my stay there. However, the only major issue for me within the apartment were the bugs. Genuinely, during my stay there, I probably killed at least 1 bug almost everyday in the apartment. Most of the time, they were harmless bugs like moths, mosquitos, ladybugs, etc, but occasionally, there were bees or wasps. Additionally, there were usually a lot of bugs around the outside staircase leading into the apartment building because of the nearby dumpster.
A clean and nicely furnished apartment, The apartment is in a pleasant area with an easily accessible private parking…
Very noisy neighbor that yells till about 11:30pm. Bathroom has stained shower curtain and mold on ceiling tiles. Door lock was broken all week so never felt very secure. A lot of wood rot "covered up" by paint and the back stairs swing when you climb them. I won't be staying again.
