Beautiful cosy and welcoming home . Great location and views from lounge to open fields so peaceful but easy distance of Morpeth only 2 miles so either a nice walk or short drive . Everything taken care of , loads of equipment and plenty of space . Dogs welcome too 🐕‍🦺

We had the most amazing 5 night stay in the cottage - everything was perfect. We chose this rental for a visit to the area so we could spend Christmas with our disabled daughter who is in a nearby care home. This being our first Christmas together in 5 years. Our daughter spent the day time with us and returned to her care home overnight. She was so very happy with the cottage. My husband and I travelled with our grown up son and our dog. Whilst we there we were also visited by my parents . There was plenty of space- a lovely lounge area, sun lounge, large dining space, fantastic kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a utility room and 2 bedrooms. The cottage was spotlessly clean with plenty of space for parking. The property looks even better in real life and much more spacious than it appears in the photos. Access to the property was great , my daughter in her wheelchair was able to enter on level no step access via the side of the house into the sun lounge at the rear and wide doorways allowed her to move around inside. One of the bathrooms is a wet room which was wonderful for anyone with mobility issues. We were delighted to find the cottage had been decorated for Christmas with a tree and many decorations, such a lovely touch. Our dog really enjoyed himself , sniffing around the enclosed garden. He appreciated the dog treats etc. The humans loved their treats too - a bottle of bubbly and a basket of goodies. These personal touches continued throughout the house and it was easy to tell that Sarah takes a great pride in the cottage. Beds were very comfy and there were plenty of towels and lots of hot water. We cooked Christmas dinner - this being a first for us whilst being away. The kitchen was so well equipped , we have never had a rental with so many pots/ pans/ dishes etc. There is a large patio outside with the most beautiful views over the fields beyond, the sun room had bifold doors which I am sure would be lovely in the Summer months . We had such an amazing time and thank you Ireby for giving us the most perfect family Christmas, a time we won’t forget.
