We’re a family of 6 and grandma came too. It was very comfortable for all of us in the cottage itself, and we were pleased with the beds and kitchen. The kids loved the big rooms, games and nice fire pit. We did not like the weedy swimming, but they also have a floating dock if your kids are actually brave enough to try it out. Our oldest two (8 and 6) really enjoyed nice canoe rides around the lake. All in all a win!

Secluded, comfortable, and scenic. Just what we were looking for...a quiet getaway with all the needed amenities. Kasia is an excellent host. Lake is great for swimming, kayaking/canoeing. The kitchen is well stocked. The rooms feel 'homey'. Wifi is reliable. Had to make a few calls to the airline - cell booster worked most of the time, but there were a few dropped calls. As Kasia says, there is reliable cell service down the road. Was definitely worth coming from Alberta to this 'Zen' cabin, look forward to returning!

The cottage itself is beautiful however a few problems to note - sheets are very papery and rough, making for a tough sleep; Toilet paper was very thin; the water swimming off the dock is full of seaweed and a snapping turtle bit my friend in the foot as he was sitting on the dock with his feet in the water. Driveway is extremely steep, so my friend got stuck on our way out.

This property check off all my boxes for what I was looking for in a cabin. Wood interior, indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit, waterfront with private dock, and not too far a drive from Ottawa. I thought it was too good to be true but the property was even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. I was also pleasantly surprised by how well stocked the kitchen was, and how well heated all the rooms were with custom thermostats everywhere. The beds and living room seating were also very comfortable and the whole place was impeccably clean. It's the kind of getaway I hope to return to with my friends in the future to disconnect from everything for a few days a year. Kasia was great at communicating everything we needed to know and answered all our questions promptly. By coincidence, someone in my group recognized the man in one of the photo frames in the chalet! It really a small world sometimes, I'm glad our paths crossed on this app and helped create memories with loved ones I'll always cherish. Among our magical moments, one of my friends was doing long exposure photography on the dock and captured the Northern Lights! They were almost invisible to the naked eye but on camera they were bright green and pink. What timing!
