Okay! So, first off — five stars! The only downside is… rather lacking in what I’d consider “common amenities” such as basic spices and cooking supplies such as oil. Anyone doing their own cooking, as we did, bring all the supplies! To include firewood, a light/match, and well, anything to do with cooking and baking, absent the pots and pans. And towels! Towels are rather sparing, especially for having a hot tub. We probably did three loads of towels in the span of our two night/three day stay. Finally… coffee pot! They had just had theirs breakdown with the last guest. It was rather disappointing not to find one, just evidence of one (ground coffee, measuring spoons, etc.,) but after reaching out, Randy dropped a single cup coffee maker within 15 minutes! Surprised it wasn’t just replaced before we arrived, but alas, Randy was very responsive and it was a super kind and welcoming interaction! Again, 5 stars and highly recommend, but bring towels and all cooking ingredients!!!

My girlfriend and I decided last minute we were going to take a ride up to the area from Pennsylvania for the eclipse. We weren’t going to be getting to the property until 5 AM, and I didn’t book the house until late the previous day. I sent a message to Randy to see if checking in so late would be a problem, and he couldn’t have been any more accommodating. The place was beautiful, both the house and the property. My girlfriend and I are definitely looking forward to the next chance we get to stay up there. Thank you again Randy for the use of your beautiful place, and for being so accommodating with our strange check in time.

The house finishes are really beautiful and aside from the commercial garage/vehicles on the property this is a great location. I'm not sure I would have rented it if we had known about that but we were there for the weekend so they didn't disturb us - just not what I expected to look out over. Lovely horse pasture next door to watch. Unfortunately we did ask for/receive a partial refund for a broken fireplace in master and hot tub being only half full which Randy did come fill for us while we were out. There was also cooked food in the oven on arrival. Could use some love in the kitchen as far as cleanliness/attempt at organization and there were really no instructions for the house which would have been nice. I was a bit surprised at the poor communication from Randy - all the prior reviews had been great so maybe something was going on but it felt like there wasn't much concern with the issues we had and there was a lack of follow-up communication about resolving issues.

This place was amazing and serene! Spotless house and Randy was very accommodating when we could not get home due to inclement weather and accommodated our large party for one more night! Great place, clean, hot tub was amazing and the kitchen was fully stocked. We had every amenity we could imagine. Beds were comfy clean and tons of linens. Go bills !
