If you’re looking for an adventurous place to stay, we highly recommend the treehouse. Even during a big storm, we felt completely safe and had one of the cosiest nights on our trip. Margareth has managed to create a space she is really passionate about and you can really feel this when in the treehouse. Tusen takk!

The hike up took me a little over an hour, but that was largely due to my intestines betraying me along the way. The rest of our group was able to do it in 40-50 minutes. The view from the treehouse is absolutely worth the effort getting there. Water is pretty limited, so don’t expect a luxurious shower situation. They also require that you take the toilet contents to a compost bin and that you hike back down with your trash. It was our priciest Airbnb on our trip with the least amenities, but the experience was well worth it. I’d do this again if I was back in the area.

This is the most amazing house I've stayed in.. ever :) The location and the view are unbeatable. The house itself is simply amazing - the thoughtful, ecological, comfortable Scandinavian design of the house is a pure joy to watch and stay in. Margareth is truly a super-host - very attentive, communicative and helpful. Looking forward to staying in the house again. P.S. for future stays - please think well what will you need (food, clothing, etc) for the duration of the stay.. 45min hike through the forest to/from parking lot can be tricky if you forget something in a car :)
