My wife Karen and I moved to Greenwood Lake in November, 2021 to be close to our son in Manhattan and nephew in Pine Island. We are familiar with the Warwick Valley from frequent visits and are happy to share our experiences with you. We are originally from Yellow Springs, Ohio. where we lived for 25 years. It was a diverse, open and socially-progressive community of artists, educators and creators and we looked for the same when we made the decision to move to New York. I am an architect who designed many buildings in Yellow Springs and the southwest Ohio region, including a loft that we hosted as an Airbnb. I am continuing my architectural practice in Ohio but am also licensed in New York and look forward to projects here. Karen was the Executive Director of the Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce for 15 years and starting working at the Warwick Valley Chamber in June, 2021 so she's very familiar with destinations and businesses in the Warwick Valley. She is also the Market Manager for the Lakeside Farmers Market in Greenwood Lake at the beautiful Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park, held every Saturday from June 18 to October 29 from 8 am until noon. Our traveling is typically loosely planned as we like to explore what interests us along the way. We often stop unexpectedly in places that pique our interest. We like to balance city travel with nature. Asheville NC, NYC, Chicago, the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and Hocking Hills OH are frequent and favorite trips. We spent our first summer and fall in New York exploring the Hudson Valley and upstate New York so we can share our experiences with those making the trip for the first time. We like Airbnb's that are more minimalist but feature all the amenities we need. We've designed the Cabin to match what we look for when we travel. We often travel with our pup so wanted our guests to be able to do the same. We're a mile away and available to assist our guests. We know you'll be as excited as us by all Greenwood Lake and the Warwick Valley has to offer. The history is rich, the beauty is astounding, and the experiences are extensive.
