This house is not by the beach. It’s by La Choya Beach which has extremely low tide. The nice beaches are Playa Bonita and Playa Hermosa which is where the Hotel area is at. We booked this place because we wanted to swim and play by the beach; my 4 year old son was super excited to see the beach for the first time and staying here almost ruined our family vacation. We had to walk 2 miles trough muddy slippery stinky sand (yes, flies and mosquitoes), broken glass and shells, to finally reach the water. They lied to us to make it seem that Casa Ines “it’s a short walk to the beach”. We talked to people who live and work there and they all said it’s always extremely low tide like that. We were very disappointed and sad we left to a Hotel on Playa Bonita the next day. The host told us there is a tide chart online and that it changes every six hours which is not true; the water never came back. Please do your research about La Choya beach, we will never book again.

This place was so cute! It was just what we needed, private, safe, quiet, but plenty of fun options for the kids. Only steps from the beach!
