Ricardo’s home in the Pines was the perfect spot for an ideal week. Fully stocked with everything you need for the beach or pool (plenty of towels, beach chairs, umbrellas), the kitchen (tons of great appliances for cooking or making frozen drinks), and modern bathrooms and sound systems. The pool and pristine hot tub gets nearly all-day sun and if that’s not enough, enjoy the view from the semi private roof deck. My friends and I agreed: we would absolutely stay there again next summer. Finally; Ricardo was highly responsive but not overly intrusive: the perfect FIP host.

Great place, lots of space and nice outdoor patio area. Photos are accurate. Short walk to the beach. Very comfortable and nice place. Ricardo was very helpful, responsive and accommodating.

This was the best home I've rented on Fire Island. A modern gem with all the indoor/outdoor amenities and no dated knotty pine! My friends loved the sparkling pool and toasty hot tub, and by far this was the best outdoor shower I've experienced since being up high means no mosquitos! Another perk of the pool and outdoor lounge is that half is always shaded so you can enjoy the sun or shade at almost any time of the day. Inside the house the kitchen is well stocked with high quality appliances and plenty of cookware/dinnerware. The open kitchen and large dining table was great for our nightly dinners and games. The beds were very comfortable and the outdoor access from each bedroom was a handy bonus. The Sonos system inside and out has fantastic sound. I couldn't imagine a stay in the Pines without great music and this home delivers. Once night arrives the area is very peaceful and quiet and the outdoor lighting this home provides is gorgeous and well thought out. Seeing the property glow at night always made me happy to be home. Ricardo was super communicative before and during our stay, answered all of my questions in depth, and is truly a great host.
