Nice place to stay. This is our second visit. We love the 4 bedrooms. Everyone gets to snore alone! It is about 20-30 yards from where you park, so we started bringing a wagon to haul our stuff to the cottage. Love the nice fire ring down on the beach. Really a nice place. Thanks!!

This was my first time staying at “The Cottage”. It’s a perfect location for a Ludington getaway. It was in close proximity to all the disc golf courses in the area. We found an amazing restaurant called the Cardinal Family restaurant with amazing food about 10 mins away, fish fry on Friday, all you can buffet during the week. We ate there for dinner twice in a 3 night span.

The yard, beach and the property in general were not well maintained. Leaf litter (including partially burned piles of...), garbage and debris were on the beach and in the yard area. The cabin was the perfect size for our family and centrally located but lacked modernization (basic upkeep) and the provided, such as linens and towels (old, stained and uncomfortable) were less than desirable. Just a few other key takeaways: The umbrella for the patio table was inoperable i.e., broken, and while there are lake activities and toys, not all of them come along with Maggie's rental. That said, Mel's Cabin Rentals (neighboring property) will allow you to purchase a $10 wristband so you and your family can use their amenities-which I would suggest doing if you have children in tow. Overall, we loved the lakefront property and the location of. I believe this place has great potential but needs some TLC before giving it 5 stars.

Margaret was quick to respond to any questions we had. The views were incredible. My children loved being able to walk out and have the lake within 20 feet of them. We will definitely be returning.
