The North Wing of Corrie Lodge is the perfect getaway in a rural yet very accessible location, with convenient road and rail links. Whilst there are many opportunities for recreation and relaxing in the locality, Corrie Lodge is also perfectly situated to explore the surrounding areas . The North Wing of Corrie Lodge is available for your exclusive use. All facilities are completely private to guests visiting the property. The North Wing has private from and back doors, access to a private courtyard directly from the back door, which leads into the utility room then into the large dining kitchen. Essentially the Airbnb is your own private wing of a country house, which is fully equipped and well furnished, whether you use it as a touring base, for attending an event in the area or if you just fancy chilling in a secluded and rural environment.

We have just spent 4 nights at Corrie Lodge and found it to be a most relaxing and peaceful place to unwind and spend time with Family. The Host , Andy was extremely helpful and attentive and made us most welcome into his home. An excellent few days .....................

The accommodation was very well equipped, and had plenty of space for 6 adults and a dog. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Andy was very helpful and responded swiftly when there was a glitch with the WiFi. Highly recommended and we'd definitely come again 😊

Andy’s place was beautifully designed and furnished. It was also comfortable and spacious. The central heating was efficient and the hot water was plentiful. The surroundings were tranquil and restful. There was no mobile signal but the wi-fi was good so calls could be made via this and there was enough capacity to download films and access catch-up channels. There was a slight hitch with the wi-fi TP Links while we were there but Andy sorted it out straight away. He was a kind and responsive host who was nice to chat to. The drive up to the property was a bit pot-holed but as we were there at a rainy time of the year I guess not much could be done to rectify this. I’m sure it will be attended to in due course. The nearby town of Lockerbie has a good Tesco and a couple of good cafes. The main attraction for us was the good rail service which enabled us to travel to Glasgow and Edinburgh. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property.

Corrie Lodge is set in rolling hills, forestry and farmland tropical of the area. Many facilities are available some four miles away in the town of Lockerbie, including a good sized supermarket, fuel, pharmacies, various other facilities and shops, cafes and hotels.
The immediate location is very quite, rural and peaceful, with the loudest noises usually being birdsong or cows mooing! Close by is Eskrigg Nature Reserve, Castle Loch in Lochmaben, the Lockerbie Memorial, Annandale Distillery and walks along the River Annan.
Lockerbie also has a railway station served by the West Coast Mainline, with Edinburgh and Glasgow being an hour away by train and the town id right next to the M74 motorway.
Lockerbie is convenient and well placed to visit the wider area, which includes the tourist town of Moffat, just a couple of junctions up the motorway and the picturesque Borders region is just to the east. The Lake District and Cumbria ar just a short journey to the south.

Parking in the local area is always free and plentiful. There is a train station on Lockerbie and Lockerbie is served by local buses that go to locations such as the county town of Dumfries.
