I stayed in this apartment for a total of 30 days (April 13-May 13, 2024), and it was everything I hoped it would be. Although it is compact, it has everything that I need for my stay, including a full bathroom, a working kitchen, plates/glasses/cookware/utensils, and enough storage for all of my clothes. The ONLY downside was that the dryer doesn't work very well, but I made use of the dryer rack that was provided, and that worked out just fine. Ergül is an extremely friendly, responsive, and dedicated host, as well. There were several short incidents of local electrical outages (not directly related to the apartment itself), and Ergül immediately reached out to the power company each time and kept me informed about their progress along the way. Overall, I couldn't have been more pleased with this apartment, the location, and the host. I will definitely book with Ergül again the next time I visit Istanbul. Thanks for helping to make my trip so memorable!

Pros: - Pretty much as described - Good location - Host responds to messages on time Cons: - You can sometimes smell cigarette smoke from outside - Walls are a little thin so you can hear neighbors if they are loud and music from the bars outside - Electricity was out for two hours at 10pm once. Apparently it happened six months ago as well. - Shower area could be better. There isn’t anything to hold them in place so they keep moving towards the shower. - Toilet seat does not match the shape of the toilet

Simple accommodation. Great location and has everything you need for short or long term stays. Fast WiFi and desk for remote work. 10/10 recommend

Cozy apartment in the heart of popular Taksim square. Very short walking distance to many restaurants and shops, and the metro station is nearby. On the ground floor of the apartment building is a restaurant/bar as well as one directly across the street, so noise from the music can get loud at night as people are drinking all night long, everyday of the week, at least in the summer when I was there. The air conditioner works great and the bed is comfortable.

My two-week stay in this apartment next to Istanbul's bustling Taksim Square was nothing short of exceptional. Conveniently located with an array of bars, restaurants, and a metro station within a 5-minute walk, the place catered to all my travel needs. The owner, Ergul, outdid himself with his warm hospitality, helpful guidance, and prompt responses. The apartment was well-maintained, offering a comfortable retreat amid the city's lively ambiance. An absolute gem in the heart of Istanbul. Highly recommended for an unforgettable stay!
