Colette’s cottage is really gorgeous. You can tell it is a cherished family home, with exceptional attention to detail in both the amenities and the decor. It was very cosy and quiet. We really didn’t want to leave!
The Lodge is simply stunning, it’s an idyllic family home that has everything you might need. It is every bit luxury - the linen and towels are of the highest quality - reflected throughout the house in furniture and style. You instantly feel at home and in comfort. The space is multifunctional whatever the weather, perfect for winter snuggles by the TV, or BBQ in the summer. It’s set in a peaceful location, with just the sheep to disturb you. Set just off the road it’s easily accessible, but make sure you liaise with the host as postcodes in the area are not as accurate. Lurgashall village is just a short drive (5 mins) with a great pub, serving food and Haslemere 10 mins by car which has all the amenities you might need - supermarket, pharmacy, coffee shops, lunch / dinner spots. As a host, Colette was exceptional - incredibly fast to respond prior to and during the stay and she went over and above with little touches in the house making the perfect wedding weekend.
We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful home, which is incredibly well equipped and appointed, and in a stunning location in the West Sussex countryside. Colette was always friendly and available to any questions we had, and we felt very much at home right from the start. If anything the photos don’t do the “feel” of this listing justice. Our entire stay is very difficult to fault
Had a wonderful few days at the house. Really amazing place set in gorgeous grounds with walks from the house. Beautiful garden and summer house where we hung out in the evenings. Paddock area was very special with a long table out in the clearing where we had a picnic. Everyone felt really at home there. Thanks for everything!
