We loved staying here. Beautiful neighborhood, quiet and peaceful! Walkable to great breakfast options. Lots of parks nearby to enjoy as well. We loved the house, so charming and had everything we needed! Thank you kindly for letting us stay!
Pros - location, location, location. You can see the water from the street and you can walk to the park and water easily (if you are okay with hills). The house is fine - basement is better renovated than the main floor. Landscaping is neat & tidy. Cons - 1. Basement door hanging from one hinge. Contacted host - said they would look at it after our stay. No way they didn't know about it before we arrived; seemed really unsafe to just have it hanging there. 2. The basement stairs are narrow, steep, and carpeted. Not accessible for anyone with mobility issues. 3. Stain on main floor sofa, blinds are gross, lots of splatters, scuffs, stains on walls. 4. Hair on sheets in one of the upstairs bedrooms. 5. Shower nozzle in upstairs bath broken and sprays all over. 6. Terrible pans in kitchen, random dishes. 7. One old wicker seat on patio - that's it. 8. Generally not guest-centered. Feels secondhand. 9. Gate is a challenge to unlatch. And watch your head if you are 6' or more
We love staying at this house. It's lovely, private, and close to family and other activities.
The home was cozy, clean, and comfortable, with accommodations that made our time there feel as homey as possible. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we had to extend our stay and modify our visit, and the host was incredibly responsive, understanding, and kind throughout all of the requests and changes. The walkable and quiet neighborhood was awesome, and being able to just stroll down to a coffee shop was also really nice. We would highly recommend this spacious and relaxing home-away-from-home!!
Excellent place. The neighborhood is very nice and it’s quiet but near lots of shops and grocery stores. There is lots of space inside and outside the house with a large gated yard and nice upper patio. Nice kitchen as well, with modern ammenities and appliances. There is also a nice designated office area perfect for us working from home. We loved staying here and would highly recommend it.
