We had a very nice stay in Roya's apartment. You have a great view into nature and can watch birds, butterfies and other animals. It is a wonderful walk on the road just outside the house . We had difficulties finding that hidden spot at night. Better is to arrive while it is still light or ask Roya to contact a taxidriver who knows the place.

I stayed here for a month. Roya was a delight. She was always responsive, friendly, and always willing to help. The studio was just what I needed. If you don’t mind countryside living, and only need basic essentials, then this is the spot for you. It was very peaceful and away from the city. The nearest market is about a 35-40 min walk. You can Uber or taxi as well. The cats are great companions, and enjoy the company of people. I had the honor of enjoying a nice dinner with my downstairs, neighbor, Roya and her partner sharing our own food together and it was moment I’ll always treasure. I’ll never forget how life changing it was for me have the peace and quiet. It’s a great spot for introspection. Ideal for any artist that enjoys the simple things in life. From the moment we arrived our host was very friendly and helpfull. We felt extremely safe. The location is unique because it is very private yet very close to the city. We were able to reach every possible destination in Costa Rica within a matter of hours. We could experience first hand the beautiful nature of CR. We saw beautiful birds, butterflies, lizards, monkeys, toucans etc right here at the farm. The place was very silent and calm, perfect for people to meditate, contemplate or just enjoy nature. We wholeheartedly can recommend this place and our host. For people who like nature and birds it's perfect. Ten our of five stars.

Roya was super wonderful to deal with. Always very helpful, caring, and responsive. The place is a hidden gem. A little out of town, which was quiet and very peaceful. But close enough to town that I could walk 30min to a grocery store. I stayed for over a month and need a few extra things (to cook with) and she was so accommodating in helping me feel like I was at home. The shower is heated by solar so I planned afternoon showers for a little warmer water which worked out great for me. Thank you Roya for being so helpful.
