Huimins place was a good place to weather the hurricane! it was private and quiet but not too far to go for food and supplies. we especially appreciated being able to check in early before the weather got bad. Host was responsive and helpful.

We were traveling with 2 adults, 3 year old and 5 month old. We stayed from Sept 12-15. We left 1 day early due to hurricane Lee. This home is not equipped for power outages (no generator, flash lights, batteries or emergency kit). Upon our arrival the back patio door was unlocked. Crib was provided however it was not safe for sleep as it was missing screws and was loose. A crib mattress was provided but did not meet safe sleep standards (we had to purchase one from Walmart) and crib linens were stained. There is no AC available on the second floor where all bedrooms are located. When we inquired with the host how to cool down the upstairs we were told to use window fans which were dirty and dusty. The couch could use a professional cleaning it was covered in stains. Around the second day of our stay the TV went down and was not useable, around this time as well a sewage smell was present within the entire home. Overall the house relatively new but it is in need of some maintenance.
