Modern and practical apartment. Not the most homely, and the area is not the prettiest in Bergen, but walking distance to the centre, and decent value for money.

Pros - The apartment is well located, short walking distance to the city centre. Grocery stores and bakeries are very close. The kitchen was fully equipped, although the fridge was way too small for 4 people. The apartment was clean (except for the couch and bed sheets as they had lots of stains). Communication was good. Cons - No hot water for all of us. We were 4 people, but only two of us were able to take a warm shower on the first day. We waited two hours hoping the boiler would work and we would be able to shower, but it didn’t. Sent a message to the host and he responded in a reasonable amount of time. He explained that the water was shared between all apartments in the building so it can take a little time for the boiler to reheat the water. Strange as the boiler was inside our washroom. We had a hard time figuring out how the floor heating worked, no explanations from the host. Also, some outlets in the wall didn’t work at all. Overall lots to improve.
