House Kanari is a modern two-storey house with classic javanese style built in 2015. 90% of the woods are recycled material from east java old houses in the 1920s. It has magnificent view of the famous Cijulang River, surrounded by tropica garden with the growing Kanari trees in between. Upstairs Unit has amazing look out into horizon and mesmerizing sunset view while at night, the open sky could be enjoyed from its spacious balcony It is only minutes from the Reef break surfing beach. This house consists of two floors. Upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms (1 double bed, 1 twinbed), 1 island kitchen set and 1 comfortable, semi-open bathroom. Equipped with 2 impressive spacious balconies with views of trees and the Cijulang river which can be enjoyed from various corners of the house. On the lower floor there are 2 bedrooms with each private bathroom. There is a coffee table set with a gallon of water and a water heater. Large open terrace and open common space to enjoy the surrounding nature and beautiful gardens.

the villas amazing, kind of hidden gems.

The drawback of choosing House Kanari Batukaras as your homestay is the 3 mins walking distance from the main road (this has been mentioned clearly in the listing's description). However, for our trip, escaping from city life of Jakarta, this is actually a blessing in disguise. Sleep with sounds of rain hitting the natural bamboo roof, or sounds of water rushing towards the sea at Cijulang River mere meters from your bed. There will be absolutely no sound of vehicles, guaranteed. The house is also 20 min walking distance from the excellent Batukaras Surfing Spot, ideal for amateur to beginner surfers'. Amenities are aplenty, with full fledged kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils, also with option for paid outdoor barbecue and/or bonfire. Warm lighting for the entire interior warms you up after you surf (hot water is available, good water pressure for cold and hot water) while your outdoor shower has star-studded roof (literally!) with crickets chirping on the background. A must try for anyone seeking to enjoy what nature has to offer alongside modern comforts.
